Changes to the ShipMonk Merchant Data Catalog are listed here in reverse chronological order. Breaking changes and deprecations are always announced with a minimum 90-day notice period.

Deprecation notice: field renames scheduled for September 1, 2026¶
Action required before September 1, 2026
The deprecated fields listed below will be removed from the schema on September 1, 2026. Replacement fields are already available and return equivalent data. Update any saved queries, dashboards, or integrations that reference these fields before the removal date.
Several fields across MDC tables are being deprecated as part of an ongoing effort to standardize naming conventions. The changes fall into three categories:
- Timezone fields renamed to
warehouse_timezonefor consistency across all tables. - Date fields replaced by UTC timestamp equivalents following the
_at_utcnaming convention. - Label fields renamed from shorthand (e.g.
store,zone) to their full, descriptive names.
Affected tables: Claim, Inventory Ledger, Invoice Item, Order Line, Package Level Detail, Package Line, Receiving Line, Return Line, Shipping Adjustments, Stock Unit By Storage Category

April 2026¶
New tables¶
Eight new tables are now available in the MDC schema:
| Table | Description |
|---|---|
| Order Item | One row per order item as imported or manually created. Source of truth for items submitted to ShipMonk. |
| Order Attribute | Custom key-value attributes attached to orders by the merchant or integration. |
| Order Action Required | Tracks actions required for orders, their type, timestamps, and resolution status. |
| Order Part | Shows the original order and all parts into which it was split, including split reason. |
| Order Reference | All reference values linked to orders (PO numbers, external order IDs, etc.). |
| Order With Removed Items | Items manually removed from orders (excludes split-order removals). |
| Product | Product master data mart with one row per product. |
| Product With Actual Stock | Products with their current on-hand inventory quantities. |
Enhanced: Order table¶
The Order table has been enhanced with additional fields including shipping cost estimates and adjustments.
